Happy New Year 2009

On New Year's Eve we celebrated with our friends at Heather, Bryan, Tovi and Nava's house. Our midnight was 7pm, we went in their backyard and watched the ladder lite up with xmas lights(?) and the beach ball drop. Then we all hugged each other and you ran around blowing the little paper horn. You had a little pretend slumber party with Gus, Tovi and Nava. We then went home and hugged each other goodnight. Mommy and Daddy stayed up and drank our cranberry sparkling juice, ate crackers and cheese, while our neighbors ran around outside banging pots and pans. They even knocked on our door to wish us a happy new year at 1am. They were lucky they didn't wake you up, or else...

CHRISTMAS 2008

Yes, most of the presents under the Christmas tree were yours. This year Daddy and Mommy went nuts with buying you lots of presents. You also got presents from Auntie Wendy, all of your cousins, Auntie Shannon, Uncle Binh and from our friends as well. You enjoyed tearing all the colorful wrappers and played from one toy to another. We started a tradition of opening presents early in the morning when we all woke up. That's how we will do it every year. Auntie Dawn visited us from New York. It took us half of the day to open our presents but you weren't even done yet. We actually took some presents we got you to save it for your birthday in March. We don't think we can wait that long though because we want to play it with you too!!! Someday you will appreciate how Mommy and Daddy love toys and we actually work with some of the largest toy companies in the world(as they say it).
This Holiday season was filled with parties, good friends and good food. We were invited to 8 parties this year. We only made half of it because you were sick for 2 weeks.

On Christmas we were invited to Nina, Russel and Anna's house for Christmas dinner. We celebrated with them, and Anna's Grandma, also Gus, Heidi and Joe! We ate delicious food and the night was filled with laughter and fun time. We had our own dinner on Christmas Eve with you, Mommy, Daddy and Auntie Dawn. It was yummy as well. We can't wait til next year when you really know about presents and Christmas and maybe Santa Claus.
