Recent pics of BeeBao
BeeBao you no longer look like a small little baby anymore. You're a little boy now!!! A year has passed by so quickly (sometimes those days seem like months though)!!! Now you are trying to express yourself, letting us know your likes and dislikes and sometimes throwing a fit for nothing and then laugh! Silly little boy!!!

SPRING IS NEAR!!!
Our neighborhood are filled with trees blooming all kind of flowers. Yes trees!!! Tulips are starting to show up as well. Pink/white flowers on trees(I think they're cherry blossom and plum trees) are lined up as we walk through the streets. It's so beautiful.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY BORIS BAO WILLMOTT!!!
Today, March 4th, 2008 you woke up at 7:30am smiling and gigling (yes this is almost everyday!) We cuddled in bed and sang you a birthday song. You had scramble eggs, cheese, toast and yogurt for breakfast. We played, read books, hugged and kissed. While Mommy cleaned up and made you lunch, you had a 2 hour morning nap. We ate tofu, chicken, avocado and pears for lunch. We went for a drive up the Gorge to Multnomah Falls with your car seat facing forward (we have been waiting forever to be able to do this.) You loved the drive and were very intrigued by the waterfall. You saw so many trees and we watched the train passing by as we stood on the bridge above the little stream by the waterfall. You were so excited in the car that you didn't take an afternoon nap in the car. When we got home, we tried putting you down but you wanted to play. You and Daddy played while Mommy cooked dinner and baked you a birthday cake. BeeBao had spaghetti and broccholi for dinner. Mommy and Daddy had stuffed chicken breast with herbs, bluecheese and etc...Then came the birthday cake...YUM YUM! Daddy said that he has been waiting for this day since you were born. We took lots of pictures and recorded the whole thing! It was so much fun! Daddy then gave you a bath, then you opened your birthday present and played for a little bit. Mommy and Daddy tucked you in and now you are soundly asleep. We sure hope you had a great birthday BEEBAO. We love you so much and have watched you grow and become smarter and smarter everyday. You are PERFECT to us. We are truely blessed and are so lucky to have you and be a happy family. Goodnight my boy! Sweet Dreams!!! Momma
BorisPop: happy first bday, my little boy! after all of these monthly birthdays we like to celebrate with you, it is nice to have a real deal bday that we can even have a bigger day with! when daddy was growing up, his mom would always bake a cake for him, and his sisters when it was their birthdays. she would then get us down to pretty much our naked selves in our high chairs, and let us dig into the cake with our bare hands! then, what ever was left over from the demolished cake, the rest of the family would get to divide up, all though, it was usually pretty much too gross to eat after each of us had put out hands in it, faces in it, and used it for war paint all over our bodies. we are keeping the tradition alive, with you, as is your aunt Shannon, with your cousin RJ...........and i did have some of the mushy cake after you were done, and it was really delicious!.....good job momma! you are a bit of a neat little boy........so you didnt get that messy with the cake, but im sure next year, when you have gotten your hands used to being dirty, you will tear into it with much more vigor.

BEEBAO 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!
Last Saturday, March 1st, 2008, we had so much fun at your 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY. So many of our new friends in Portland and your little friends came to celebrate with us. It was a BLAST!!! It was such a great time. Although you had missed your second nap you were still as happy as can be. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such great friends and neighbors. We will never forget this day. And you received so many cool presents as well. New toys (we can never have enough of that!), new clothes, some cool books, a great drawing from Isabella, a really cool pot of flowers from Jonah, and so much laughter and good times!
BorisPop: what a great day for you BeeBao! mommy made a zillon cupcakes for you and your friends, and we picked up 6 pizzas from Laurelwood, and of course, had baby snacks, soda, juiceboxes (and PBR juice boxes for all your friends parents).
we filled the front room with helium balloons, and decorated with Backyardigans decorations. the balloons were a real hit with you and your little friends, while the older kids migrated to your future bedroom where they played xbox360 on the giant TV.
your closest friends all came (except for a sick Lennon........:(..........), as well as your newer neighborhood friends, and everybody was so cool, and fun to spend the day with. you had fun playing with all your friends, and you all got along so well, running and crawling all over the place. your day ended when Heidi tapped on my shoulder, and said "i think mommy needs your help"......and i looked over and you had thrown up your feast all over your birthday outfit. it was about that time, when the last of your guests said, "ok, time to go!". momma then put you down for bed, while i gathered up all of your balloons, and tied them together, wrote a note to you for your bday, and taped it to the balloon strings. i then took them outside, and let them go off into the night sky. i could see them enough to watch them drift off in the moonlight for about 15 minutes. for some reason, it felt like some ancient tribal ritual as i watched them drift off into the black of the night time sky.....like i had just offered up the memories of your first year of your life to the universe to enjoy as much as i did......or maybe daddy just had too many of those "adult juice boxes"..........
a great way to spend celebrating the first year of your life, my little Bee. its only been a year, but it feels like you have been with us a lifetime.........maybe, you were always there with us.....just waiting to spring into this world, and now our reward is here. love you, bigger than bigtime. Daddy.
